Karten Kniffel

A card-based adaptation of a dice-scoring classic, in which players build valuable combinations and record points on a score sheet. The deck contains cards numbered 1–6, with each player starting with five cards. On a turn, a player may discard cards and draw replacements, or play five cards to score a combination such as sets, a full house, a straight, or five of a kind. Played cards are then replenished. Unused cards in hand cause penalty points. Once a player has filled every scoring category, the round ends after all players have had the same number of turns, and the highest adjusted score wins.
