King Frog

King Frog is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 15 minutes and is meant for ages 7 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4.

Frogs move around a pond as they compete to become the king. Players use cards from their hands to move their frogs, hopping over any frogs in the way, with lower cards moving first. Landing on a lily pad matching a frog’s color returns the played card to its player’s hand; otherwise, the card is discarded. A player with no cards is eliminated, and the game also ends when the frog in front hops over the frog in last place. Spatial planning and luck shape the race for two to four players.
