Knight Forlorn

A storytelling game about a lone wanderer pursuing a futile quest through a withering world. Players build and narrate the setting together through improvisation, taking turns portraying the knight, the world, and its mood. Card draws generate encounters with enemies, inhabitants, and returning conflicts. Combat compares cards drawn for the knight and an adversary; setbacks force retreat or sacrifices, while victories can unlock abilities that improve the knight’s resilience and skills. The game supports group, duet, and solo play, with each session creating a different story.
