Labyrinth: Scarabs

As magic items vanish from the ancient Labyrinth, dormant scarab swarms awaken to protect its secrets from intruders seeking power and immortality. The swarms emerge from hidden corridors after three magic items are taken from the board. Players can spend actions to move them, and characters encountering a swarm must make a Scarab Check. A successful check removes the scarab from the game; a failed check transforms the character into a monster. Transformed characters can later attempt to return to their original form.
