Players take the roles of dwarves collecting treasure in a cave. On each turn, they distribute finds among four treasure spaces, building stacks of different types. Players must remember where valuable treasures are and decide when to leave with a chosen stack and treasure type. Waiting allows the caches to grow, but greedy dwarves risk missing the right moment, having a preferred treasure taken, or being caught by the cave orc.
