Microscope

A collaborative role-playing game about creating and exploring an epic history, from the rise and fall of civilizations to the lives of individuals caught within them. Players establish a broad historical timeline, then add periods, events, and scenes in any order, moving backward or forward through time to investigate the parts that interest them. Civilizations can flourish, transform, or be destroyed as the group develops the setting together. It supports two to four players with no game master and no preparation.
