The game portrays the engagement at grand-tactical scale, with players directing brigades, battalions, cavalry squadrons, batteries, and leaders across a detailed map. Command and control, orders, formations, and the weapons and tactics of the period shape play. Counters and organizational displays feature the historical flags and uniforms of the Allied and French armies.
