Panzer Grenadier (Modern): 1967 – Sword of Israel: Soviet Airborne

This supplement adds 24 counters and new scenarios depicting a threatened but unexecuted Soviet intervention in the Six-Day War. Players use a battalion from the Soviet Army’s 103rd Guards Airborne Division against Israeli forces. The 1967 Soviet airborne battalion is a well-trained light infantry formation equipped with Sagger anti-tank missiles, heavy mortars, recoilless rifles, and ASU-85 assault guns. Its scenarios contrast this force with the Arab armies featured in the standard 1967 scenarios.
