This game was a total dud. You walk around this expanding jungle landscape, collecting items semi-randomly and collecting tokens looking for a set of 4, while other players throw beautiful animal meeples at you, then unless you have the right item, you are slowed down or killed, undoing your progress entirely. It felt awkward and frustrating, especially because most of the items you use to mitigate damage are one time use and the animals get to hit you every time their die result is rolled. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ☆ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ☆ Multiple plays stay interesting ☆ Low or mitigatable luck elements ☆☆☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
