Rules of Battle: Grand Tactical Warfare During the Age of Prince Eugene of Savoy 1683-1730

A grand-tactical miniatures wargame depicting battles from the Age of Marlborough, including the Nine Years War, the War of the Spanish Succession, and the Great Northern War. Players command large formations representing infantry, skirmishers, cavalry, and artillery to resolve battles involving up to 100,000 troops. Designed for 15mm or smaller miniatures, the game uses a ground scale of 1 inch to 500 feet. Each stand represents a unit of troops or a battery, and turns cover approximately 10–15 minutes of battle. Large engagements fit on a 3' x 5' table and can be completed in an evening.
