Sankokushin: Five Sacrifices

A fully cooperative campaign set in a fictional medieval Japan, where heroes arrive in the city-state of Yamashiro as it struggles beneath the consequences of its pursuit of the Unseen. Across a 12-month campaign, players decide where to explore, which activities to pursue, and how to interact with citizens and enemies. Combat combines tactical positioning with psychological encounters. Heroes can intimidate, provoke, negotiate with, or attempt to understand their opponents, while managing stress and adapting to enemies that respond to their methods. Actions during both city phases and battles shape relationships, generate the narrative, and influence the fate of Yamashiro across multiple possible storylines.
