Santa Claus Takes the Intercity

Players bid for 25 intercity railway routes across a map of the Netherlands. Each round, a route card is revealed and everyone simultaneously plays a card from their hand; the highest untied card wins the route. Played cards and certain high or low cards are discarded after each bid, gradually reducing the available options. Winning routes are coloured on the map, with each route worth one to five distance points. After all routes are claimed, or players run out of cards, the winner is the player with the longest continuous route.
