The Battle of Monmouth

A historical wargame depicting the June 28, 1778 Battle of Monmouth during the American Revolution, as George Washington’s Continental Army attacks British and Hessian forces withdrawing from Philadelphia toward New York. Players command American, British, and Hessian units across two period-style maps, using standard series rules and scenario-specific special rules. Four scenarios cover Lee’s repulse, Washington’s stand, the full battle at Monmouth Courthouse, and a hypothetical second day of fighting.
