The Korean War: June 1950 – May 1951, Designer Signature Edition

This operational-level wargame covers the first year of the Korean War, from June 1950 through May 1951. Players command United Nations, North Korean, and Communist Chinese ground and air forces, including infantry, marines, paratroopers, armor, and aircraft, across a detailed map of the Korean Peninsula. In addition to planning movements and combat, players make political decisions that influence global tension. The UN player must balance the need to defend South Korea against the risk of escalation and wider war. Each turn represents one month, with scenarios lasting 4–8 hours and a full campaign taking 20 or more hours. This updated edition includes revised rules, larger counters, new map artwork, modified amphibious assaults and victory conditions, and additional random events.
