Tolling of the Bell

A wargame simulation of the last German campaign in Hungary, depicting Operation Spring Awakening and its sub-operations Icebreaker and Forrest Devil from 6–25 March 1945. It also covers the opening of the Soviet Vienna offensive from the perspective of the 3rd Ukrainian Front. Players use a command chit-pull system to activate headquarters, allowing controlled combat units to move and attack. The game uses two-day turns, 3–4 km hexes, and units ranging from battalions to divisions.
