Warlords of Europe

An area-movement strategy game of medieval warfare in 13th-century Europe. Players compete to control fiefs and castles across nine major kingdoms, seeking military dominance and recognition as Emperor by the Pope. Each fief has distinct terrain that influences its economic and defensive value. Players manage their forces, plan campaigns, and respond to unpredictable events from the Pope, Merchant, and Conquest card decks. Starting positions can vary between kingdoms, creating different strategic challenges in each game.
