Players command pirate ships in a fantasy archipelago populated by intelligent animals, lost islands and magical phenomena. A gridded world map and a companion app combine to move ships, resolve encounters and run tactical naval combat. Players explore, complete missions, hunt sea monsters and engage rival corsairs to capture plunder. Loot funds upgrades and new equipment, letting captains customize their vessels and roles from marauder to merchant. Scenarios and app-driven events shape each session while ship positioning, resource management and combat decisions determine success.
