Bacchanalia

A narrative game for 3–6 players, set in a Roman settlement among the vineyards of Romagna. Each player creates a fictional character accused of a crime against the empire and fleeing with a lover. When Bacchus and his followers arrive, the fugitives become entangled in a chaotic bacchanal as Pluto, Minerva, and Venus interfere in mortal affairs. Players guide the characters through the unfolding story, deciding whether they reunite with their beloved and escape, are captured by their accuser, or are lost in the revelry.
