In a village known for its witches, players compete for a place on the Sorcery Council by gathering magical ingredients and brewing potions. Marionettes explore the nearby forest while spells and potion orders provide additional ways to advance. The game is played over three expeditions, each consisting of five rounds. Players place a Marionette in the forest, then return to the village to resolve the indicated forest column and determine the next first player. During rounds, they can prepare, sell, or exchange potions, cast spells, and request a small amount of money from the village magician.
