Bluff and deduction shape the struggle for influence in the five Border States during the American Civil War. Two players command opposing sides, choosing battles and political efforts to sway states toward their cause. Read the opponent’s intentions, conceal your own plans, and win decisive victories to gain control of State tokens. The game ends after five rounds, or earlier if one side gains enough tokens for a sudden-death victory.
