The player characters are traveling to Göborg for different reasons and arrive by stagecoach in the small village of Boeråsen, partway through the journey from Pirit. They spend the night at the Boer Fäst roadside inn, where dinner, fellow travelers, and local entertainment create the setting for events to unfold. The evening’s performer is Madam Flogkvist from Kloteröd, a heavily overweight mutant cow singing alone on the small stage in a white tunic.
