Players reenact the First Battle of El Alamein using deckbuilding mechanics and unit cards themed to WWII North Africa. Each player builds and refines a deck to deploy forces, maneuver across a campaign map, and contest strategic objectives. Combat resolves through card play and resource management while players upgrade units and acquire new capabilities. The box offers two visual options—manga-style character art or a historical photographic edition—and cards from both editions can be combined, though the game functions as a complete, compatible sequel rather than a simple expansion.
