Growling Tigers: The Battle for Changde, 1943

The 74th “Growling Tiger” Chinese Division defends Changde against the Japanese 11th Army in November and December 1943. Japanese forces advance on the city while Chinese reinforcements approach from the rear in a double encirclement. Players activate divisions, manage supply, and use tactical and air force chits in combat. Supply supports heavy artillery and the reorganization and reconstruction of infantry units. The Japanese seek to capture and hold Changde, while the Chinese win by bringing a reinforcement unit into the city.
