Players command Saxon or Norman forces in the Battle of Hastings, seeking control of England. Each side arranges unit cards into battle columns on a six-column, seven-row virtual battlefield. Formations and battle event cards determine how troops engage across three opposing sectors. The objective is to break two enemy sectors, forcing the opposing army to flee or destroying it. Leaders represent Harold Godwinson and William of Normandy, with victory levels determined by the survival of the leaders and the timing of the sector breaks.
