History of the Ancient Seas: Expansion I – New Markets

Each time you play, this expansion creates a new distribution of merchandise across the map. Merchandise tokens are placed randomly, with options for open or face-down placement, requiring players to explore and locate resources before developing trading posts, banking, or fleets. An optional rule gives an advantage to powers with well-developed fleets. The expansion can be used with all three games in the series.
