Ipse Dixit

A memory game about famous aphorisms and their authors. Players reveal covered author and aphorism cards, trying to match each saying with the person who said it. Successful matches are collected and allow the same player to continue; failed attempts are covered again and play passes on. The game ends when all cards have been matched, and the player with the most pairs wins.
