Key West

Set in the 1930s, this game depicts the economic development of the Florida Keys. Players build hotels and bridges, manage fruit plantations, operate cigar factories, and send adventurers to sea in search of shipwrecks and treasure. Each of the eight rounds begins with an auction for cards that provide ownership, resources, and other benefits during the action phase. Actions are limited, so players must choose which opportunities to pursue and which to leave aside. Several scoring paths are available, but concentrating on a few areas is more effective than attempting everything.
