Longships

Longships is a board game for 2–6 players. It plays in 60 minutes and is meant for ages 10 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4. The cheapest copy in stock is 320,00 kr (Sverige).

Players command Viking longships in the North Sea, beginning by plundering Denmark, Norway, Scotland, or England to obtain resources. They trade Cloth, Furs, Thralls, and Mushrooms between countries, with longer voyages offering greater profits but greater risk from changing weather. Plundering weakens a country’s economy and makes its population hostile, limiting access to shipbuilding and repairs. Players balance trade, raids, defense, and hostility while sacrificing resources to the gods for extra actions, combat advantages, weather changes, or improved cities. Resources can also build additional longships, and the player with the most ships at the end wins.
