Mercante in Fiera

A classic Italian auction and trading game using two matching decks of illustrated cards. In the first phase, cards from one deck are sold in lots of one to four through auctions. In the second phase, selected cards from the other deck become winning cards, with the tokens paid during the auctions placed on them. The remaining cards are revealed one at a time, and players discard matching cards unless they are among the winning cards. Players may trade cards throughout this phase. The player with the most tokens on the winning cards wins.
