Palace Quest

Players work together to construct the Sultan’s ideal palace over eight rounds. Each player starts with gems to finance construction, while the master builder changes each round and determines which three buildings can be placed. The team reveals gem cards one at a time, choosing whether to keep each card or discard it and try again. Players must complete the palace’s basic framework, then fulfill the Sultan’s randomly assigned wishes concerning walls, buildings, and their arrangement. Neighborhoods of matching buildings provide action tiles that offer additional cards, site rotation, or gem-color changes. If the team runs out of gem cards or fails too many wishes, the game ends in defeat.
