Players race to play cards in the correct sequence: toilet, turd, toilet paper, and washing hands. Cards must also alternate in colour, so no two cards of the same colour can be placed consecutively. When a player cannot play or has no cards left, they squeeze the whoopie cushion to end the round. The player with the most cards remaining takes a fake turd and starts the next round. After five rounds, the player with the fewest fake turds wins.
