Pounce

Become cats competing to catch prey worth a total of 8 food. Each round, players simultaneously choose to Sleep, Stalk, or Pounce as new prey is revealed. Pouncing alone allows a player to catch prey by discarding Energy cards, while multiple cats targeting the same prey must fight using Intimidation and Hiss cards. Sleeping refills a hand of cat cards, and Stalking provides an advantage in the next fight. Energy, Star, and Skill cards offer different effects, including catching specific prey, playing Hiss or Catnip, and using abilities such as Fishing or Sharp Vision. An optional mini-expansion adds event cards to the prey deck.
