Putin Strikes: The Coming War for Eastern Europe

Vladimir Vladimirovich decides to abandon the "opaque war" and go for it big time, seeking to reclaim territory on Russia’s European flank while the West is distracted by jihad. This near-future operational-level simulation covers the first month of a possible conflict, with divisions and brigades maneuvering across a 20-mile-per-hex map. Its combat system examines the effectiveness of brigades and other formations in a conventional war, as well as their limitations in urban counterinsurgency operations.
