Rebel Tide: The American Civil War

A two-player strategic board wargame covering the American Civil War from 1861 to 1865. Players command the Union or Confederacy, using cards each year to move forces, conduct combat, establish entrenchments, and manage reinforcements. At the end of each year, players choose which cards to repurchase with their available production, balancing future operations against the effects of blockades and blockade runners. Historical leaders, resource points, cavalry, artillery, and an international political track shape the campaign, while naval operations are abstracted. A solitaire bot supports solo play, and a complete war can be played in roughly three to four hours.
