Sicily: The Race for Messina

Operational wargame treatment of the Allied invasion of Sicily in World War II. The game covers the campaign from 10 July to 17 August 1943, as Allied forces attempt to capture Sicily while outnumbered Axis forces conduct a rearguard withdrawal toward Messina. A regular campaign, variable campaign, and shorter scenario focused on the U.S. landings are included. Units represent battalions through brigades, with turns covering two days and hexes representing three miles.
