Surplus of Sloths

Players are wildlife rescuers drafting rows of numbered sloth cards while managing a shared surplus net of discarded cards. On each turn a player leads a draft from a row, other players follow, and the leftover card drops into the surplus net; players begin with a small hand and also discard into the net during setup. After all rows are drafted, players compare longest runs for each sloth type (cards numbered 1–7 plus wild Xs). The longest run — with ties broken by the highest numeral — claims all surplus net cards of that type, which score based on their numbers and how many matching sloths are in the net. Optional baby sloth cards act as universal fillers to extend runs without adding net value.
