The Game Master's Book of Non-Player Characters

A collection of more than 500 non-player characters for tabletop roleplaying games, covering everyone from bartenders and blacksmiths to nobles, villains, and schemers. Each entry details a character’s wants, needs, secrets, obstacles, abilities, and notable possessions, while random tables provide tools for creating additional NPCs. The book also includes custom stat blocks and illustrations, a side-quest generator, and three one-shot adventures suitable for characters of levels 1–10.
