The Impostor

This class represents a shapeshifting operative that can adopt the strengths of many other roles at varying effectiveness. Players choose one of five archetypes—Battle, Devotion, Occult, Sabotage, or Words—which determine which sets of class features and role templates the character mimics. Play focuses on selecting archetype abilities and applying them to emulate fighters, spellcasters, rogues, healers, and other archetypes. The design emphasizes flexibility over specialization, letting a single character fill multiple party needs by borrowing aspects of combat, divine and arcane magic, stealth and trickery, or persuasive skills.
