The Judge Dredd Roleplaying Game (Mongoose)

Players take the roles of street judges in a vast, dystopian metropolis where crime is constant and law is enacted on the spot. The setting portrays a sprawling, overcrowded future city-state with harsh social conditions, rampant criminality, and authoritarian legal powers vested in individual judges. Gameplay centers on investigation, patrols, and enforcement missions as players pursue criminals, resolve public-order incidents, and dispense summary justice. Character creation and advancement model long, rigorous training and specialized skills; mechanics support combat, courtroom-style adjudication in the field, and moral or legal dilemmas. Scenarios range from routine beat work to large-scale riots, political intrigue, and organized crime operations.
