This two-player historical wargame recreates the Athenian invasion of Syracuse during the Peloponnesian War. Athens commands fleets and an expeditionary army, while Syracuse seeks to preserve its independence with local forces and allied support. Players maneuver cavalry, light troops, peltasts, and hoplites, choosing between pitched battles, skirmishes, and the construction of siege walls. Straightforward rules, a mounted mapboard, battle board, and die-cut counters support one-session games focused on the campaign’s military decisions.
