1066, Tears to Many Mothers: The Battle of Hastings

Recreate the Battle of Hastings in 1066, as Normans and Saxons compete for the crown amid broken promises and ominous signs in the sky. Each player musters troops and resources, overcomes historical obstacles, and clashes with the opposing army in an asymmetric tactical card game. Every card is based on a real person or event from the period. The ready-to-play decks require no deck building, allowing the battle to begin after shuffling.
