Cornish Smuggler

Players take the roles of 18th‑century Cornish smugglers, buying and selling contraband while building a local network of characters and hidden locations. Decisions include which goods to buy (bulky but valuable versus small and easy to move), where to sell them (risky larger towns or safer smaller ones), how to price sales to trade off profit versus community reputation, and which characters to hire to improve transport, influence or secrecy. Customs officers move and strengthen over time; players can bribe or manipulate them, rent secret storehouses, and use one‑off tricks to evade seizures. The winner is the player with the most gold after the escalating customs threat ends the game.
