Light Speed

Players control identical teams of small spaceships competing to mine an important asteroid and damage opponents. Each ship card has 1–4 lasers of three strengths; during a real-time “fast round” players simultaneously place cards on the table to aim beams at the asteroid or rival ships. When one player empties their hand, the simultaneous “scoring round” resolves: ships fire by rank (all rank-1 ships, then rank-2, etc.), applying damage and destroying ships whose accumulated damage exceeds their health. After all ranks resolve, players score points for damage dealt and successful asteroid mining.
