Lead the panzers of Army Group Centre toward Moscow or defend the Motherland through a fighting withdrawal. This light-to-medium wargame covers the German offensive after the encirclement battles of 1941, with stretched supply lines, stiffening Soviet resistance, lagging infantry, and the approach of winter shaping the campaign. The German player must achieve a decisive victory before winter, while the Soviet player withdraws, rebuilds, and prepares a counterattack. The course of the historical operation can change through play, with support for two players or solitaire play.
