Objective Shreveport!

This operational-level game simulates the Union’s 1864 Red River Campaign and its advance toward Shreveport. The Union commands a larger force but must manage slow, vulnerable supply trains and a rigid leadership structure, while the Confederates have fewer strength points but greater command flexibility and no supply concerns. Players maneuver a small number of units across a broad map, with leaders generally required to initiate attacks. Special Events cards support Confederate counterattacks and efforts to delay the Union advance. Multiple approaches to the objectives provide room for maneuver and experimentation in a compact game suited to a single evening.
