Solitaire Rome from the Dictator Camillus to Augustus Caesar, 400–27 BCE. Manage the Roman Republic as it expands from a small city-state into an empire. Direct consuls, censors, governors, and tribunes; collect taxes, administer provinces, suppress revolts, and lead legions in wars against rival powers. Earn Prestige through prudent administration, territorial expansion, military victories, and public entertainments, while avoiding bankruptcy, popular revolution, and invasion. Four starting points and scenarios covering 10–40 turns represent the Republic’s rise over several centuries.
