Run the Roman Empire from Augustus to Diocletian in this solo game, and avoid bankruptcy. Appoint consuls and governors, raise taxes, deploy armies and fleets, defend the provinces, and fight wars to expand Rome’s power. Manage crises, develop provinces, fund public works, and balance military ability against loyalty as governors pursue victory or rebellion. Four scenarios cover the empire from 27 BCE to 286 CE, with campaign rules allowing them to be combined.
