SCOPE U-boot

Recreate the tension of Allied convoys versus German U-boats in the Battle of the Atlantic. Two players alternate between hunting and evading: one commands submerged submarines that move stealthily and fire torpedoes, the other pilots escorts and slower merchant ships across a grid of cards, searching for contacts and protecting the convoy. Torpedo attacks reveal the sub’s location and force the Allied player to choose between ordering freighters to dodge or sending destroyers to prosecute the contact. Includes multiple scenarios and game modes with variable complexity and duration; players set up a card grid for each scenario and play through tactical cat-and-mouse engagements.
