The Hobbit: The Adventures of Bilbo in Middle-earth from The Lord of the Rings

Players guide their hobbits through Middle-earth, moving across a three-dimensional board with tiered areas and stand-up figures representing trolls, spiders, elves, Smaug, and Gollum. The goal is to reach the final space by an exact dice roll. Various encounters delay progress: trolls and goblins hold a hobbit until the appropriate escape space is reached, Gollum requires a matching cloak color, spiders must be defeated with a dice roll, and elves must be escaped by rolling. Landing on an occupied space also causes a player to lose a turn. The artwork has a Rankin/Bass-inspired style.
