20,000 Leagues under the Sea

Players captain ships across a grid of treacherous seas, avoiding a giant octopus and Captain Nemo’s Nautilus while sailing to the Aleutian Islands. There they collect cargoes such as gold, diamonds, rubies, silk, bananas, and potatoes, then return them to their home port to score points. An audio cassette provides instructions and moves the Nautilus during play. Players roll the die and move in turn, while octopus spaces can trap ships until they escape. If the Nautilus lands on or passes over a ship, that ship returns to port. When the cassette ends, the player with the highest cargo value wins.
